Shen Sha, or Gods and Killings method was widely used before Ziping introduced the 10 gods.

The most widely known Shen Sha is Peach Blossom and Travelling Horse.

Shen Sha method at basic level is easy to apply. If you have that Shen Sha star, you tends to have that characteristic. The only hurdle is memorizing the deriviation of the Shen Sha stars, but modern software, this is no more a issue.

In the text, Jin Shen (literally translate is Gold God) is as what you listed: YIN WOOD OX, YIN EARTH SNAKE or YIN WATER ROOSTER OF THE BIRTH DAY OR Birth Hour.

It is listed that Fire is necessary to be in the chart for this Star to be useful. Now I know why from your explanation.

Along with the overwhelming response on the ambiguity of the hour pillar of WuWu (12pm) instead of DingSi (10am). I believed this phrase sum up his entire life, “…Jackson grew up isolated from normal childhood and adolescence, subject to the loneliness of outstanding fame and fortune...”. If he is DingSi, he may not have the discipline to be a legend as what we knew of him today, however, how true can that be, let us investigate his life path.
