dear chris

been reading your posts - absolutely fascinating, especially your observations about working life in malaysia/malaysian employee attitudes!

i guess on the +side it's refreshing to know that your staff have no problem telling you they don't feel motivated ;) - it sure beats the usual 'everything's ok, good good' comments and then a few weeks later you get a resignation letter waiting on your desk.

There's a lot of benefits being at the top, but always remember it comes with responsibilities.
Unfortunately, stress is part and parcel of this job.

Even when we read Bazi and decide to help another, there's also accountability.

Hi Donald, you should try and piece the pieces together and you'll get my chart. I know what's my strenght and my weakness, and that's the key benefit gained from learning Bazi.

My goal now is to unravel HOW to mitigate bad days and how to enhance great days.

Good to see your post but then you have so many stress & frustration...do feel bad to hear that.

Never ever thought a manager would says no motivation to work to the boss. This is the 1st time. I never dare to say that to my boss, guess no 7K in my Bazi :-)

Don't think having company vision written out would help. My company has it too. They have it frame on every floor, outside the lift, in the working area, at the reception & etc. Never taken a notice about them. The most important thing, the company must be profitable.

Maybe you should pass some of your stress & frustration to your managers. I think it works better than having a clear vision.

My perspective on DE is 'effect' is minimise (50%) whether good or bad. So in your example, if a DR is clashed but is in DE, then less stress etc.

I usually look at when things are bad, the 50% less bad is better! :-)

Any idea how DE (Kong Wang) affects a person's thought process & productivity i.e. when it's in the Luck Pillar, involving DR on HS & DO on EB? The Ji Chou has a clash with EB. Both are earths. Can strong water be used or is Wood better?
